About this project
As with many clients today, this client was in need of a local web developer on the island of Maui, Hawaii to bring their old website up to date by enabling the site to be viewed and used correctly on all devices, mobile, tablets for all browsers and operating systems.
The client was needing a modern website to accommodate Google’s new requirements to be mobile device adaptive for its search engine listings. We we able to fill the clients request as well as provide search engine optimization by working with one of our local partners.
The client wanted a website that was graphically pleasing to the eye and allow their clients to be able to search and find homes and land in Maui County for sale, quickly and easily.
iTouch Media in collaboration with our long time partner (over 10 years) Valley Isle Webs were able to accommodate and make our client very happy.
Real Estate websites need to be able to show as much about a property as possible and is used to generate enough interest, “at a glance” for the client to contact the realtor to set up appointments to tour the property.
The website required a custom database to show a listing with many variables such as land size, neighborhood information, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. The site needs to be able to show the property location as well and by utilizing Google Maps integration. The client gets a birds eye view, can zoom in and even switch to Google’s “Street View”, to take a 360 degree virtual walk which works great on mobile devices.
The real estate broker also required integration with the local real estate MLS ( multiple listing service) to show all properties available for sale in Maui County and be able to add/edit and manage their system on the back office of the site.
